- 4 c. sliced, pared and cored baking apples (6) or 1 can pie apples
- 2/3 to 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 c. rolled oats
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/3 c. soft butter
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Place sliced apples in greased 9-inch square pan or baking dish.

3Blend remaining ingredients until mixture is crumbly.

4Spread over apples.

5Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.

6Serve warm. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
