Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- 1 (21 to 24 oz.) can pie filling
- 1 tsp. shredded lemon or orange peel
Directions

1In mixing bowl, stir flour, oats, sugar and soda.

2Stir in margarine.

3Spread 2 cups of mixture in an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.

4Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.

5Stir peel into pie filling.

6Carefully spread on top of crust.

7Sprinkle with remaining mixture.

8Bake at 350° for 25 minutes until top is golden.

9Cool in pan.

10Drizzle icing over.

11Cut into bars.

12Good plain, better with icing.
