Ingredients

  • 6 c. fruit (any kind - apples, cherries, peaches)
  • 1/2 c. sugar (more if using fresh fruit)
  • 1 cake mix (white or yellow)
  • 1 stick margarine

Directions

    Mix fruit with sugar and put in bottom of long cake pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top and put margarine on top of that. Put 1/4 cup sugar on top of that.

    Bake at 350° for at least an hour.
