  • 1 (2 1/2 lb.) pkg. frozen peaches or cherries, thawed
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. oleo, melted
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Mix frozen fruit, sugar and water.

    Put in electric skillet until soft.

    Drop dough mixture by tablespoons on top of fruit and cook at a low bubbling (covered) for 20 minutes.

    Remove lid and let set until liquid is absorbed.
