- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 qt. pecans
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs. Add 3 cups flour sifted with baking powder and salt. Mix rest of flour with chopped fruit and nuts. Stir into batter and add vanilla. Pour into a tube pan that has been greased and bottom lined with heavy brown paper. Bake at 250° for 3 hours. Let cool in pan.
