  • 1/4 lb. (1 stick) real butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 can pie filling

Directions

    Put butter in an 8 x 8-inch square Pyrex pan in oven at 350° to 375° to melt.

    Then mix sugar, flour, milk and baking powder together.

    Pour over butter, then add fruit (any type of fruit filling will do).

    Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
