- dried fruit (prunes, raisins, apricots, etc.)
- cornstarch or pearl tapioca
Directions

1Cover dried fruit with water (any combination of raisins, prunes or apricots).

2Boil slowly for 20 minutes.

3Add brown sugar to taste.

4Thicken, if desired, with cornstarch dissolved in 1/3 cup water.

5Bring to a boil.

6Some like to add pearl (big) cooked tapioca instead of cornstarch.
