  • 1 qt. strawberries (other fruits may be used)
  • 2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 pkg. (3 3/4 oz.) vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 pkg. (10 3/4 oz.) pound cake (frozen), sliced
  • whip cream
  • 2 Tbsp. sherry or orange juice

Directions

    Slice strawberries and mix with sugar; set aside.

    Combine milk, sour cream and pudding mix.

    Beat, scraping down sides of bowl.

    Do not overbeat.

    Mixture will thicken in about one minute. Position half the slices into the bottom and partially up sides of 3-quart serving dish.

    Drizzle orange juice.

    Cover with half of pudding and then half of strawberries.

    Repeat layers. Decorate surface with whip cream.

    Refrigerate.
