  • 3 c. uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 c. chopped dried apples
  • 1/3 c. golden raisins
  • 1/3 c. slivered almonds
  • 1/4 c. instant chicken granules
  • 3 Tbsp. dried minced onions
  • 4 1/2 tsp. curry powder

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and store in airtight container.

    To prepare, combine 1 cup mix with 2 cups water and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine in a saucepan.

    Bring to boil.

    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until water is absorbed. Yield:

    About 5 cups dry mix.
