  • 2 oz. (approximately 1/3 c.) dried apricots
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped raisins
  • 2 Tbsp. Grand Marnier or an orange flavored liqueur
  • 1 box brown and wild rice
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Soak raisins for several hours in Grand Marnier or other liqueur or microwave on high until boiling.

    Cool at room temperature.

    Prepare rice according to box instructions.

    Stir in fruit, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
