- 3/4 cups margarine
- 23 cups evaporated milk
- 12 ounces chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
- 7 ounces marshmallow cream
- 1 cup nuts optional
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1Combine sugar, margarine, and milk in heavy 2.5qt saucepan; bring to full rolling bowl, stirring constantly.

2Continue boiling 5 min over medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234f stirring constantly to prevent scorching.

3Remove from heat; stir in chips until melted.

4Add marshmallow creme, nuts if using, and vanilla; beat until well blended.

5Pour into greased 9x13 inch pan.

6Cool at room temperature, cut into squares.

7Makes approx 3lb.
