  • 1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 2/3 c. cooking oil
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

    Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt and nuts.

    Set aside; combine oil, eggs and vanilla and add to dry ingredients. Do not overmix.

    Spread in 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Yields about 24 brownies.
