Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 3 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put flour, sugar and salt in large bowl, set aside.

    Bring to a boil oleo, water, oil and cocoa, pour over flour mixture and stir until well mixed.

    In a small bowl beat the eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla.

    Stir into mixture and beat well.

    Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan (10 x 15-inch) and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.
