- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons shortening
Directions

1Mix oats, flour, brown sugar and salt.

2Add butter and mix until crumbly.

4Set aside 1-1/2 cup for topping.

5Press remaining into a greased 13x9 baking pan.

6In saucepan combine milk, chips and shortening; cook and stir over low heat until melted.
