  • coarse salt
  • 1 octopus
  • 1 potato large, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • extra-virgin olive oil
  • paprika

    In a large pot, heat water with salt.

    Wash the octopus and remove the beak.

    Once the water is boiling, place the octopus in the pot, cover it, and let it cook for 45 minutes.

    In a saucepan, add cold water, salt, and the potato. Cook until the potato has softened.

    Remove the octopus from the pot, cut into medium pieces, and plate along with the potato. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle coarse salt and paprika on top.
