- 20 sweet corn in husks
- 20 potatoes
- 20 carrots
- 20 onions
- cabbage (one wedge per person)
- 10 to 12 lb. smoked sausage
- 2 cans beer
- 1 can water
Directions

1Purchase a new garbage can and wash out with bleach and water mixture.

2Pull husks down and remove the silk from corn.

3Wrap each husk around corn and stand on end in garbage can.

4Scrub potatoes and carrots and put on top of corn.
-
5Next, add onions, cabbage and sausage.
-
6Pour 2 cans of beer and 1 can of water over top.

7Secure garbage can lid.
-
8Build a charcoal fire and place can on coals.
-
9Do not remove lid.
-
10After you notice steam coming out from under lid, continue to cook 2 hours.
