- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 12 lbs yellow squash, thinly sliced
- 2 cups corn, cut from cob
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons basil, fresh chopped
- pepper, to taste
- 1 pinch sugar
- 13 cup water
Directions

1In large skillet, melt butter and saute' the onion, bell pepper and garlic till soft.

2add squash and cook briefly before stirring in corn, tomatoes and seasonings.

3cook a couple more minutes and put into a buttered 3 qt casserole dish, add water.

4bake covered for 30 minutes @ 350 degrees F.

5remove cover and bake another 30 minutes.
