- 2/3 c. wild rice, uncooked
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. chicken-flavored bouillon granules
- vegetable cooking spray
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1 c. thinly sliced mushrooms
- 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 c. frozen English peas, thawed
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Rinse wild rice in 3 changes of hot water.

2Drain.

3Combine rice, 2 1/2 cups water and bouillon granules in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil.

4Cover and reduce heat.

5Simmer 50 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.

6Drain and set aside.
