Garlic And Artichoke Bread

  • all-purpose flour
  • 1 loaf (1 lb.) frozen white bread dough, thawed
  • 1 (6 oz.) jar marinated artichoke hearts, save marinade and chop artichokes
  • 1 1/4 c. (about 5 oz.) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. each dried basil leaves and dried oregano leaves

Directions

    On a floured board, roll dough into a 12 x 18-inch rectangle (let rest 5 minutes if springy).

    Brush half the marinade over dough; sprinkle with artichokes, 1 cup cheese, garlic, basil and oregano.

    From a long edge, roll dough into a snug log; pinch seam to seal.
