- beef steaks (such as T-bone, sirloin or club), cut 3/4 to 1-inch thick
- 2 c. sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- biscuit mix
- shortening for frying
Directions

1Put steaks in a large, shallow dish.

2Pour a mixture of sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, celery salt and paprika over steaks.

3Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours.

4Heat shortening in a large, heavy skillet.

5Coat steaks with biscuit mix.

6Brown on both sides in skillet.

7Cook to desired doneness.
