  • 1 to 2 cans green beans or frozen (fresh beans are best)
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    If fresh beans are used, cook in boiling water for 1 minute. Drain and add to other ingredients in saucepan.

    Can be seasoned with bacon or ham, but are good without.

    Add a little water to keep them moist.
