- 14 oz. pkg. light caramels
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt caramels and evaporated milk over low heat.

2Hand stir cake mixture and spread half in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

4Spread chocolate chips on top. Spread caramel mixture over and pat on remaining cake.

5Bake 18 minutes.

6Cool, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
