- 1 lb. each candied pineapple, cherries and raisins
- 5 c. chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 5 eggs
- 1/8 c. orange juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. plain flour (unsifted)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add well beaten eggs.

2Add baking powder to flour, then sift twice.

3Add 1 cup flour to nuts and fruit.

4Add another cup of flour to creamed mixture.

5Mix thoroughly.

6Add lemon flavoring.

7Mix flour, nuts and fruit together by hand.

8Add to creamed mixture, mixing well.

9Put into ungreased tube pan and place in cold oven.

10Put pan of water on bottom shelf.

11Bake at 325° for 2 hours.
