  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 to 3 Red Delicious apples, cubed (do not use any other apple)
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Beat until frothy the salad oil and eggs.

    Add sugar, vanilla and milk; blend until creamy.

    If still thick, add a little more milk.

    Sift together baking soda, salt, flour and cinnamon.

    Add gradually to other mixture.

    Fold in apples and nuts.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes in 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.

    Frost with Cream Cheese Icing.
