- 1 head cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
- 8 slices bacon, cut into pieces
- 1 Tbsp. salad dressing
- 1 tsp. minced garlic (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Place cabbage in boiling, salted water and boil for 5 minutes.

2Fry bacon pieces slowly until brown.

3Drain cabbage thoroughly.

4Mix onions and bell pepper with cabbage in bowl.

5Add bacon bits and drippings to cabbage.

6Add 1 tablespoon salad dressing or mayonnaise.

7Salt and pepper to taste.
