- head of cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. bacon, diced
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 3/4 to 1 tsp. salt and pepper
- 3/4 to 1 tsp. thyme
- 3/4 to 1 tsp. caraway seed
- 3/4 to 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 4 or 5 slices bread, cubed
- 2 or 3 eggs
- 1 large onion, chopped
Directions

1Boil head of cabbage until you can work with leaves.

2Cut thick veins off bottom of backs of leaves.

3Brown bacon and remove from grease.

4Set both aside.

5Combine beef, pork, bread, eggs, onion and spices to taste.
