German Chocolate Bars

Directions

   Combine the cake mix with evaporated milk and butter.

   Press half of mixture into 13 x 9-inch pan.

   Bake 10 minutes at 350°. Melt the caramels with the other 1/3 cup evaporated milk.

   Cool slightly.

   Spread over baked crust.

   Sprinkle the chocolate chips over top of caramels.

   Top with remaining cake mix.

   Bake 15 minutes at 350°.
