  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Swiss chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 1/2 and 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 7 oz. flaked coconut
  • 1/3 c. milk

Directions

    Heat oven to 350° and grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine in large bowl: cake mix, water, eggs and oil.

    Mix at low speed until moistened and 2 minutes at medium speed.

    Stir in 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts.

    Pour into pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

    Cool.
