- 1 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine the evaporated milk, sugar, 3 slightly beaten egg yolks, butter and the vanilla.

2Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes.

3Add the coconut and chopped pecans.

4Cool until thick enough to spread.

5Makes 2 1/2 cups.
