- 4 oz. bar German sweet chocolate
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 pt. whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 10 oz. box vanilla wafers
Directions

1Melt chocolate and butter together; add chocolate mixture to beaten egg yolks, then add 2/3 cup of the powdered sugar.

2Chill, then fold in whipped cream.

3Beat egg whites until they begin to stand up in peaks; add remainder of sugar (1/3 cup) to egg whites and fold into chocolate mixture.

4Grind vanilla wafers and line a 9 x 9-inch deep dish with part of the crumbs.

5Spread 2 cups of chocolate mixture over the crumbs.

6Repeat until mixture is used. Top pudding with crumbs.

7Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.

8Cut in 3 x 3-inch pieces.
