  • 2 qt. water
  • 1 qt. white vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 c. kosher salt
  • lump of alum
  • dill

Directions

    Boil water, vinegar, salt and alum for 5 minutes.

    Pack dill and 1 clove garlic into bottom of sterilized jar.

    Pack pickles and add more dill.

    Pour hot liquid over pickles and seal.
