German Pineapple Cheesecake

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream together margarine, 1/2 cup sugar, egg, 1 1/2 cups flour and baking powder.

    Then spread this mixture in a 13 x 9-inch pan and then press down.

    Next add pineapple on top.

    Then blend the cream cheese, 1 1/2 tablespoons flour, eggs, milk, 1 cup sugar and vanilla.

    Mix well and pour over the pineapple.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
