- 3/4 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2/3 c. cherry preserves
- 2/3 c. pineapple preserves
- 2/3 c. apricot preserves
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla. Mix well.

3Sift flour and spices together; add alternately with buttermilk to which soda has been added.

4Mix well and fold in the preserves and pecans.

5Bake in a greased tube pan at 325° for 90 minutes.

6This is a moist cake.

7Freezes well.
