- 1 medium cabbage head
- 1 large Spanish onion or any mild onion
- 1 large green pepper
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 3/4 c. Wesson oil
Directions

1Shred cabbage, onion and pepper together.

2Sprinkle sugar and salt on top.

3Bring vinegar, celery seed, mustard and oil to boil and pour over vegetables.

4Cover and refrigerate 6 to 8 hours. Stir, then serve.

5This keeps well for several days in the refrigerator.
