- 3 lb. soup meat
- 2 qt. water
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Add water to soup meat; season to taste and cook slowly for several hours.

2A half hour before serving time, make soup ball as follows:

3combine the salt and flour and work in the butter.

4Beat eggs and add to flour.

5Stir in milk, using only enough to make batter thin enough to drop by spoon.

6Drop by spoonfuls into the boiling hot broth and cook for 10 minutes.

7Serve in hot soup at once.
