  • 2 c. flour, sifted
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix flour and sugar together in a mixing bowl and set aside. In a saucepan, melt the oleo, cocoa and water together and bring to a full boil.

    Pour over the sugar and flour mixture and add buttermilk,

    eggs

    baking soda and

    vanilla and pour batter into a greased 16 x 11-inch pan (cookie sheet) and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
