- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2Beat eggs in a medium sized bowl until light and fluffy.

3Add milk and 1 TBSP butter, mixing well.

4Combine dry ingredients; add to egg mixture, and beat until smooth.

5Butter 6 custard cups generously.

6Set the cups in a jellyroll pan, and place in a 400 F degree oven 5 minutes before filling.

7Remove from oven.

8Spoon batter evenly into the cups.

9Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes; reduce the temperature to 350 F and bake an additional 20-25 minutes.

10Turn off heat, and allow to stand 5 - 10 minutes.

11(They should be extra large, empty crusty shells.).

12Serve hot with butter, jam or jelly.
