  • 1.75 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1.5 t baking powder
  • .5 t baking soda
  • 4 t ground ginger
  • 1 t ground cinnamon
  • .5 t ground cloves
  • 1.5 sticks salted butter
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • .5 cup black strap molasses
  • 2 t lemon juice
  • .75 cup diced candied ginger
