- 2 12 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 12 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons margarine, softened
- 12 cup applesauce
- 14 cup molasses
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375F Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

2In medium bowl, sift together flour, ginger, baking soda, allspice and salt.

3In large bowl, beat sugar and margarine with electric mixer at medium speed until blended.

4Whisk in apple sauce and molasses.

5Add flour mixture to apple sauce mixture; stir until well blended.

6Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 1 inch apart onto prepared cookie sheet.

7Flatten each slightly with moistened fingertips.

8Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until firm.

9Cool completely on wire.
