  • 1 lb. raw carrots (peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices)
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. acceptable margarine (melted)
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley or 1 Tbsp. dry parsley flakes

    Boil for 10 to 12 minutes or until barely tender.
