  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 well beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 3 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Cream together the butter and sugar. Stir in the eggs, molasses and vinegar.

    Sift and add dry ingredients.

    Mix until well blended.

    Form the dough into 3/4-inch balls by rolling dough in between your palms.

    Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 12 minutes.
