  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco (must be Crisco)
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. ginger, cinnamon and cloves

Directions

    Mix all ingredients.

    Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

    Roll into ball the size of a large walnut.

    Roll in sugar.

    Bake at 375° for 10 to 20 minutes.
