- 1 Tbsp. ground ginger
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. molasses
Directions

1Combine first five ingredients and set aside.

2Beat shortening until creamy.

3Gradually add sugar.

4Beat in egg and molasses. Gradually add flour

6Form into small balls and roll in sugar.

7Place on ungreased baking sheet; bake 12 minutes in 350° oven.
