- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 2 tsp. ginger
Directions

1Cream margarine, sugar, molasses and egg together.

2Stir flour, salt, baking soda, cloves and ginger together.

3Add to creamed mixture.

4Mixture will be soft.

5Roll in little balls and roll in sugar.

6Place on lightly greased cookie sheet, 2-inches apart.

7Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
