Ingredients

  • 2 cups corn or cut fresh off the cob 3 to 4 ears
  • 2 cups beans Cooked, any type -
  • 1/2 kilogram beef chopped
  • 3 tomatoes grated
  • 1 tea spoon tomato paste
  • 1 onion large cubed
  • 3 cloves crushed garlic
  • curry powder
  • 2 cubes carrots
  • water - to cover
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Fry the onions and garlic till browned in some oil

    Add in the meat and allow to brown all over
  3. 3
    Add in the grated tomato and tomato puree and let it simmer for 4 mins

    Add in the pepper and a teaspoon of curry powder and allow to simmer with the pot lid down for 4 mins

    Toss in the carrots with a 1/4 cup of water and allow to simmer with the pot lid down for 5 mins

    Add the corn and beans to the large pot with enough water just to cover. Season with salt and bring to a boil over medium heat.

    Reduce heat to low and simmer until cooked through, 8 minutes.
