- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat almonds, sugar and butter in heavy skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly until almonds are toasted and sugar is golden brown, about 15 minutes.

2Sugar should be syrupy.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir in vanilla.

5Spread mixture onto ungreased cookie sheet.

6Allow to harden.

7Break apart.
