  • 9 to 12 medium carrots (1 1/2 lb.)
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

    Peel carrots and cut in half lengthwise.

    Boil in salted water until tender. Drain well.

    Melt butter in a heavy skillet; add juice and brown sugar. Stir until mixture thickens.
