- 6 c. julienne carrots
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 c. orange juice
Directions

1Cook carrots in lightly salted, boiling water until tender. Melt butter; add onion and cook until tender.

2Combine cornstarch, sugar, salt and ginger in small pan.

3Gradually add orange juice. Cook on low heat until thickened and smooth.

4Place carrots in casserole dish.

5Place onion on top and pour sauce over all.

6Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes.
