- 1 lb. carrots, cut in large chunks
- salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions

1In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, in 1-inch boiling water, heat carrots and 1/4 teaspoon salt to boiling.

2Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until tender-crisp.

3Drain. Add butter, sugar, nutmeg and 3/4 teaspoon salt.

4Return mixture to heat and cook, stirring constantly until carrots are glazed.
