Glazed Mini Meatloaf

  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, homemade
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • sea salt
  • black pepper
  • granulated garlic

Directions

    Rinse quinoa thoroughly with hot water and cook in 1 1/2 cup of water for about 20 minutes.

    Mix and combine until uniform ground meat, cooked quinoa, egg, bread crumbs and spices.

    Shape the mixture into 4 oval loaves, flatten them a little and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Brush the mini meatloaves with glaze and bake in the oven for 35 minutes at 200°C.

    Glaze: mix ketchup and mustard until smooth.

    Serve with mashed potatoes and seasonal salad.
